A 14-year-old boy was handcuffed for several hours and put into a youth home because he refused to follow a judge's custody order to visit his father.
Family court Judge John Foster on Thursday ordered Jacob Mastrogiovanni of Warren into the Macomb County youth home for several days. On Friday, the judge released the boy following protests by the teen's mother, Dawn Platevoet.
